QUICK LINKS

VOLUNTEERS…WE LOVE OURS!

Who makes our festival run like clockwork each year?  Volunteers who love the music and love to make our festival guests welcome!  When the festival kicks off each year, the volunteers swing into action to make the festival an enjoyable experience for all.  Greeting festival-goers at each venue, volunteers are a vital link between the festival guests and festival staff.

In 2014, a year of transition to a new location, our volunteers will be more important than ever to guide our guests to the new venues and attractions.  If you enjoy ragtime music and people, you may be just the sort of person who makes a fine volunteer…interested?  Our volunteer coordinator, Linda Kuk, would love to hear from you!  Linda will obtain contact information of potential volunteers and pass it to the coordinators of various crews as they need to add to their volunteer ranks.

Various groups make the festival run smoothly such as registration desk workers, venue door monitors, piano movers, hospitality room volunteers, and more.  Each group is headed by a coordinator who organizes their crew and schedule.  If you have a special talent, such as a body-builder who would love to help move pianos or some other talent/interest that may fit a need for the festival, let Linda know when you contact her to add your name to the list of potential volunteers.

Please contact Linda at Lkuk52@gmail.com (preferred method), by completing the Volunteer  Inquiry section of the West Coast Ragtime Festival website, or by calling (916) 992-0260.
