Michael Chisholm

Michael Chisholm is an avid performer, composer, arranger, and collector of ragtime music. His first exposure to ragtime was watching Jo Ann Castle play on a rerun of "The Lawrence Welk Show", and he's been hooked ever since. Michael joined the ragtime circuit in 2013 when he attended his first Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival. He has returned as a performer ever since.

Besides Sutter Creek, Michael has performed in virtually every ragtime festival on the West Coast. Besides performing, Michael religiously collects vintage sheet music though his primary focus is ragtime and blues. His collection of over 3,000 sheets of ragtime and 20,000+ sheets of different genres is open to musicians, collectors, and fans alike.
