Emily Sprague is sixteen years old. She has been a first place winner of many piano competitions including the state-wide auditions by the Missouri Music Teachers’ Association, Young Artist’s Piano Competition by the Italian-American Federation, Concerto competition by Belleville Philharmonic Orchestra in IL and Beethoven Society’s Young Pianist competition (IL). She was also one of the seven finalists in the 2004 national Baldwin piano competition. Emily was named as a 2004 Gateway Young Achiever for her outstanding musical achievements. In addition, Emily has performed with Tony Caramia of Eastman School of Music at a ragtime concert in Sedalia, and with Bob Milne at a ragtime event in Tulsa.
