Dennis Pash was the initial instigator of the historical research and has accumulated a vast amount of artifacts and information which he hopes to publish. He has lectured at schools, folk music societies, and ragtime festivals. Dennis has composed songs, a dozen rags and other instrumentals. Dennis provided the epitaph for the gravestone of ragtime composer James Scott. It reads, "The Grace and Beauty of His Music Will Live Always."
