Valerie Kazik is 16 years old and lives with her family in a village nearby Zurich, Switzerland.

At the age of four, she started playing piano and tennis. She spends a lot of her free time for these two hobbies and in addition she is a kid’s tennis instructor and loves to improve her snowboard skills in winter time. She is a student at the Kantonsschule Zürcher Oberland majoring in Latin and music.

She is very proud of winning the Swiss Youth Ragtime Competition and is looking forward to playing the piano in Sacramento in November!
