Updated 8/13/2008

Stephanie Trick has been playing the piano since she was five years old.  She studied for 13 years with Diane Ceccarini in St. Louis.  Now a senior at the University of Chicago, she is completing her undergraduate degree in Music.

The past year was spent on leave from the university to study piano at Principia College under Dr. Marie Jureit.  She also took up organ studies with Dr. John Near and has played in church services and concerts.  Stephanie had the opportunity to perform Rhapsody in Blue with the college orchestra, present a Junior Year Piano Recital, and participate in several piano master classes.

She was selected for an arts tour of the East Coast with a group of students last spring, which included concerts in Massachusetts, Washington, D.C., North Carolina, and Florida.  Her year at Principia was also enriched by a quarter studying abroad in Austria and Germany. She is honored to have been chosen to perform at this year's International Stride Piano Summit in Boswil, Switzerland and to be invited back again to the West Coast Ragtime Festival.

Stephanie has recorded several CDs of some of her favorite ragtime, jazz, and classical music.  More information about these recordings can be found on her website, stephanietrick.com.
